Per his Twitter, Oakland Jr Grizzlies U16 forward Josh Norris has committed to Michigan.
A skilled playmaker with a strong first stride, high hockey IQ and a solid frame, Norris leads the Jr Grizzlies in scoring through 18 games with a 9-18--27 line and posted a 2-4--6 line at the USA Select 15 camp a year ago. A relentless, high motor player, Norris leads the next crop of talented high skill players coming out of the state of Michigan's youth programs.
A 99 birth year, Norris joins Michael Pastujov as the second member of the Wolverine's 2017 class. As far as the rest of the class goes, Michigan needs a center, two defensemen and a goaltender. They should have no problem finding talent with the Belle Tire, Honeybaked and Jr Grizzlies programs loaded with quality players this year.
