Brady Hoke and the Michigan Wolverines finally have their quarterback of the future.
After visiting the University of Michigan on Monday morning, 2015 quarterback Alex Malzone (Bloomfield Hills, MI) has verbally committed to the program. He first reported his commitment via his Twitter account.

Malzone is a three-star prospect and the thirteenth-ranked pro-style quarterback in the class, according to the 247 Composite rankings.
The player that would end up getting the quarterback spot for the Wolverines in the 2015 recruiting cycle has been up in the air since the hiring of offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier. The program decided to take its time and watch kids throw in person, and Malzone earned his spot by dazzling coaches at a throwing session in late April.
Watching Malzone's film, he seems primed to shoot up in the recruiting rankings between now and the end of his senior season. He has really started to turn heads this spring in front of coaches, and he went out and earned his offer from the Wolverines, and is now a part of the class.
Now that the Wolverines have their signal caller for the 2015 class, we should start to see other dominoes fall at other positions. They have put a ton of stock into making sure they got their quarterback offers right, and now they have their man.
Malzone is the sixth commitment of Michigan's 2015 recruiting class, joining offensive tackle Jon Runyan Jr., cornerbacks Shaun Crawford and Garrett Taylor, safety Tyree Kinnel, and kicker Andrew David.
