97 Days Until Michigan Football

Michigan's 2014 season is just around the corner.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Freshman Drake Harris, WR

Number: 14

Hometown: Grand Rapids, MI

Height/Weight: 6'4, 180

Three Things To Know About Drake:

1. Despite already being on campus, Drake was forced to sit out this year's spring game due to the lingering effects of a hamstring injury he developed in high school.  According to Drake, the tweak this spring wasn't as serious as the one that saw him miss most of his senior season in high school, so it is likely just precautionary that Michigan kept him sidelined.

2. Drake wasn't always on track to be a Michigan man.  In fact, he was once a Michigan State commit, then after that decommitment he was also high on Ohio State before ultimately deciding on Michigan.  This decision, as well as some of Drake's comments about why he chose Michigan over in-state rival MSU, ruffled a few feathers.

3. The aforementioned butthurt from Spartan fans manifested itself in a pretty bad parody twitter account.  Good job, good effort, Sparty.
