Three Things To Know About De'Veon
1. He got a chance to play last year and had a few nice runs, including this one:
Michigan didn't have much success on the ground using its running backs last year, so this play was a breath of fresh air. Smith flashed the kind of leg drive and ability to move in traffic that could be a big factor in Doug Nussmeier's zone-heavy offense.
2. Derrick Green was a bigger name when he committed, but Smith was at one point the top running back recruit in Ohio. Not to shabby.
3. He has good taste in music*.
