Three Things To Know About Ross
1. Ross almost didn't end up at Michigan. That is, had he stuck with his original commitment to Penn State. However, Penn State was hit with some major unilateral sanctions from the NCAA, something that had an effect on Douglas and his decision:
"It was something we decided before (the NCAA's announcement) because my family saw it coming," Douglas said. "We prepared ourselves for it, and [Monday] was just the icing on the cake. I love Penn State to death, but I have to do what's best for me and I'm going to look elsewhere."
2. Douglas was brought in as a corner and spent his first year practicing there, but this offseason he switched to the offensive side of the ball. Part of this has to do with depth (Michigan is very strong at corner and getting even better with the addition of Jabrill Peppers), but Ross isn't without the talent to pull the move off. As a senior in high school he rushed for 1119 yards and 15 touchdowns in 15 games.
3. He isn't about to put up with your B.S.
