Redshirt Sophomore Kenny Allen, Punter

Number: 91

Hometown: Fenton HS; Fenton MI

Height/Weight: 6'3, 230 lbs

Three Things To Know About Kenny

1. Despite his walk-on status, Kenny isn't a slouch as a kicking specialist.  He was the second ranked punter by Rivals in his recruiting class and the 13th placekicker.

2. He has a highlight video.

3. Despite not playing much over his first couple years on campus (he had one punt for 51 yards in the CMU game last year), Kenny has the right attitude.

"I knew coming in I would most likely be redshirted and I prepared myself," Allen said. "I knew I was getting prepared and learning from people who were here. It's good to get other people's perspectives and I've used them to mold me into the (kicker/punter) I am today."

Michigan still has a couple specialists in front of him, but as Will Hagerup and Matt Wile prepare to graduate the door might open up for Kenny to have a big role in 2015.
