Redshirt Sophomore Jeremy Clark, Safety
Number: 34
Hometown: Madisonville North Hopkins HS; Madisonville, KY
Height/Weight: 6'4, 206 lbs.
Three Things To Know About Jeremy
1. Jeremy was initially a greyshirt offer by Michigan's staff after hitting the camp circuit hard as a junior. He impressed both OSU and UM coaches enough to warrant interest, but not enough to get a scholarship out of the gate. That would eventually change as Michigan would upgrade his offer to a full scholarship based on a number of factors (a disappointing end to the 2012 recruiting cycle, rising interest from other suitors, and an impressive senior season).
2. One of the reasons for Clark's sleeper status as a recruit was a growth spurt. Between his sophomore and junior year of high school he grew four inches, topping out at 6'4. Not many safeties are 6'4, and not many high schoolers deal with rapid growth spurts all that well. Clark's strong performance as a senior is a good indication that he adjusted to the big change in his body.
3. Could this be the secret to his growth spurt?

Yeah, probably not.
