Michigan Football: Ex-Wolverines Star LT Taylor Lewan Signs Rookie Deal With Tennessee Titans

Lewan, a 6'8", 315-poundish Goliath, was the final rookie to sign an NFL deal, per CBS.

Taylor Lewan's bank account is due for a healthy injection of funds: A cool $11.5 million over four years, per Fox 17 WZTV Nashville.

Given the payday news, the following video is appropriate. But it's NSFW and NFYC (Not For Young Children--I made up that one). View with caution.

On top of that, the former Michigan left tackle is getting a $6.7 million signing bonus...and a fifth-year option. In terms of rookie contracts, they don't get much better (these days) than the fully-guaranteed deal Lewan inked with the Tennessee Titans, who drafted him No. 11 overall in 2014.

Of course, the holdout--if that's what you choose to call it--had to eventually end. Training camps are just around the corner. In some cases, teams already have rookies on campus--can't play or participate if the contract isn't signed.

Those are the rules.

Per NFL.com's Chris Wesseling, Lewan's behind LT Michael Roos and RT Michael Oher (yeah, that Michael Oher), and will be unless he "blows away the staff in training camp."

Of course, there are a few details left to take care of before he fully immerses into a pro career. He's facing charges of assault, stemming back to an off-campus altercation with a Buckeyes fan that happened after Michigan's 42-41 loss to Ohio State in 2013.

Jury selection for the trial begins Oct. 27, and court proceedings are set for Oct. 28.

At least he got it scheduled for the bye week...
