The season opener against (School Name Redacted) comes closer.

Gregory Shamus

Sophomore Jehu Chesson, WR

Number: 86

Hometown: St. Louis, MO (Ladue Horton Watkins High)

Height/Weight: 6' 3" / 195 lbs.

Three Things to Know About Jehu

1. He pancaked three Notre Dame defenders in the 2013 night game. I can't directly post the image, but it's in this article toward the bottom. Elijah Shumate was covering Chesson while Jeremy Gallon caught a pass in the middle of the field. Chesson ran to block Shumate, and ended up destroying three ND defenders, yielding a 61-yard touchdown.

2. Chesson is a gifted track athlete, and made many other great blocks last season. He did score against Akron, but his recruiting upside is even greater as a deep threat speed receiver.

3. Speaking of that touchdown against Akron, here it is in video form. Chesson gets a bit of a nudge from an Akron tackler, but he instantly separates from the secondary and winds up in the end zone.
