Michigan Football: Night scrimmage open thread

Maize n Brew is at Michigan Stadium to watch the scrimmage tonight. Have any questions or want updates? Follow along with our open thread.

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

Brady Hoke and the Michigan Wolverines are allowing the fans and media alike a peek into their team for the upcoming season.

The football team will be participating in an open scrimmage/practice at Michigan Stadium to prepare for their upcoming season opener Aug 30 against Appalachian State. The scrimmage tonight will last approximately two hours and will have competitive aspects.

This is a rare opportunity to see the team in preseason form and some lingering questions regarding the team (offensive line in particular) will at least be attempted to be answered tonight. It is likely we will see a lot of 11-on-11 type situations for most of the night.

Although this is a non-televised event, Maize n Brew is on-site and will post updates and any questions you might have about the team tonight. The scrimmage is set to begin at 8 pm.
