Three Things To Know About Matt
1. He had braces at one time. He also probably has a legit beef with whoever put this picture on the internet.
2. Matt thinks his absolute best field goal distance is probably 63 yards, but he also feels confident from about 58. Let's hope it doesn't ever come to that.
Also, that video is pretty great. Matt seems like a pretty funny kid.
3. While Matt has played extensively as a punter (61 punts for an average of 40.5 yards last year) and kickoff specialist with 232 career kickoffs, this will be his first go at a full season as place kicker. He did have three attempts in 2012 as Michigan's long field goal kicker, making kicks from 48 and 52 yards. Last year he attempted five field goals and made three, all later in the season and in the bowl game. Michigan should be in good shape.
