With West Coast powers such as USC, UCLA, Stanford and Oregon are patrolling for talent in their own turf, it's always considered a big victory when a Midwestern school like Michigan can receive some good recruiting news in the state of California.
That is exactly what happened on Thursday.
2015 Five-star cornerback Iman Marshall announced on Twitter his intentions for five official visits that he will take before signing day. Notre Dame, Florida State, LSU and Michigan made the list for the talented corner, the fifth school is receiving a little bit of a twist.

The six-foot-one and 190-pound corner from Long Beach Poly High School is rated as the top player in his position for the entire nation. Also, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings, he is currently ranked as the second best player in the state of California behind defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie.
No dates for his visits have been announced yet.
