An already shaky offensive line will take a depth hit for an undisclosed amount of time.
Michigan announced Wednesday that sophomore offensive lineman Kyle Bosch has taken a leave of absence from the football team for personal reasons. There has no been no set timetable to return.
"Kyle Bosch has taken a leave of absence for an undetermined amount of time for personal reasons," said Michigan coach Brady Hoke in a statement. "We ask that his privacy be respected at this time. We wish him the best and look forward to his return."
As a true freshman, where he early enrolled, Bosch appeared in five games at left guard where he made three starts. He currently sits as the back-up left guard behind redshirt sophomore Erik Magnuson. He made his season debut last Saturday against Appalachian State in the second half of the contest.
