Michigan vs Notre Dame: Do Not Go Gentle

New, 677 comments

The final Michigan vs Notre Dame Game Thread. Make it one to remember!

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Hate. Although it's a word that can be over-used, it still packs quite a punch. It is an emotion that comes from our core, and even saying it requires us to pull it from the depths--think about the last time you used it; you probably gave it quite an emphasis, didn't you? It's never simply "hate", but almost always a guttural "hhhhhhaaaaate". Many of us use it in association with the Fighting Irish. If you need an example of the hatred, read Maize n Brew member DonAZ's comments. That's some hate, right there my friends.

One thing I know you don't hate is the fact that MnB had a ton of great stuff leading into the game this week:

- Fouad's Previewin'

- Drew goes Inside the Numbers in the fight for the best win percentage in college football. And if you haven't checked out these Numbers pieces yet, you are missing some great stuff. Stop missing great stuff!

- Joshua sat down with One Foot Down's Patrick Burns for a Q&A. Check it out to see if Patrick thinks Michigan is a big rival.

- Anthony has a Six-Pack for you.

- If you love history, Hollywood Hokester has just what you need.

All caught up? Good.

I would normally post the game thread about an hour before kickoff, but this is something special for all of us and seemed important enough to go much earlier. So here's what I'd like to see from you, dear reader: follow the example we set in the MnB Roundtable yesterday and reminisce about the history of this series. Vent; trash talk; lament the passing. Curse, bless this thread with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the Michigan/Notre Dame light.

Mind the guidelines lest I swingeth the Ban Hammer with the might of Thor, comment like this is the most important thread ever, and always Go Blue!
