Proud to announce my commitment to the University of Michigan. Thanks to all my friends and family that have helped me along the way.#GOBLUE

During the Minnesota game Michigan received their first commitment from a 2000 born player, presumably for the 2018 class from Compuware U-15 forward Blade Jenkins, the son of former Maine Black Bear Todd Jenkins and current Compuware coach.
Already with good size at 5'10, 155lbs the speedy Jenkins possesses a dynamic offensive skill set playing for the U15 Compuware squad as a 14 year old. He finished the 2013 season with Compuware AAA totaling a 10-16--26 line through 17 games.
Getting a commitment from a 2000 born player this early is a nice surprise, as the Wolverines only have two commitments from 99's, but Jenkins is a talent and it's already on display despite his age playing against older players.
