Hoops Thread: Michigan at Rutgers

Another chance to beat a team from New Jersey.

Jim O'Connor-USA TODAY Sports

As if this team wasn't struggling enough this season, being without Caris LeVert for the rest of the way is going to hurt. How much will it hurt? Well, the season is pretty much over and we may never see LeVert wear the maize and blue after this.

If there's a bright side, it's that John Beilein is still the coach. And if there's one thing we know about Beilein it's that he knows how to coach up a team. Remember how freaked out everyone was when McGary went down? Granted, there was more talent out on the floor to fill in the gaps than we'll see this season, but there will still be glimpses; views; flashes, and glimmers of what the future could be down the road.

So, can Michigan beat a team from New Jersey this time around? Rutgers did beat the Wisconsin Badgers in Piscataway, but I'll let Fouad fill you in on the rest of the Scarlet Knights' story.

Let's put the blues away and just take whatever happens in stride; let's lower the expectations a little bit and enjoy the good things that can happen.

Comment like this is the most important thread ever, mind the guidelines, and always Go Blue!
