Hoops Thread: Michigan at Purdue

Michigan and Purdue each look for a 2-0 record in the Big Ten.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Good afternoon, Saturday, I'm so glad you're here! What took you so long?!

Michigan heads to the "Crossroad of America" to take on the Purdue Boilermakers today, a team who is 9-5 and has losses against North Florida and Gardner-Webb! I mean, losing to teams like that would be like if Michigan lost to...I don't know, let's say EMU and NJ...FRAG! Never mind.

Like Michigan, Purdue is coming off of a win to open the Big Ten season after beating Minnesota earlier in the week. So here we are, ready to watch these two duke it out for first place in the conference (never mind that we're only two games into the conference season). A Michigan win today could help their chances of landing a spot in March Madness, but BT Powerhouse's Thomas Beindit shows how getting into the tournament is going to be tough.

I've banned myself from making any predictions, so I'll just end with the usual...comment like this is the most important thread ever, mind the guidelines, and always Go Blue!
