S&P+ Projects Michigan to Beat MSU Comfortably

+

SB Nation's Bill Connelly has released his S&P+ projections for Week 7. S&P+, which is a predictive ratings system that is derived from play-by-play data and adjusts for opponents, projects that Michigan has an 89.1-percent chance to beat Michigan State, with a projected score of 35-14. For context, in the first six weeks, teams with an 80-89 percent chance to win according to S&P+ are 75-15 (83.3 win pct.).

I think it'll be a much closer game. But S&P+ also thought Michigan would overpower Northwestern, and look what happened there. We'll learn soon enough.
