Michigan Football Recruiting: 2017 3* RB Kurt Taylor Commits to Wolverines

Michigan added its third commitment of the 2017 class on Friday.

What is supposed to be an enormous recruiting weekend for Michigan has already started with a bang. 2017 three-star running running back Kurt Taylor (Covington, GA / Newton HS) took to Twitter to announce that he has pledged to Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines:

Taylor is ranked the No. 484 overall prospect and the No. 35 running back in the 2017 class according to 247 Sports' Composite Rankings. He had other early offers from Cincinnati, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt, but there were reports this week ($) that Taylor was favoring the Wolverines and could pull the trigger while on his unofficial visit to Ann Arbor.

Taylor is the third commitment of the 2017 class. He joins three-star tight end Carter Dunaway and three-star cornerback Benjamin St-Juste, who reclassified from the 2016 to 2017 class.

Stay tuned as we'll have more on Taylor's commitment this afternoon.
