Michigan has received a verbal commitment from Chicago Mission U-16 forward Jack Randl.

Randl is a tough, solidly built player who plays a 200 foot game, competes at a high level and is difficult to play against. Randl was a standout at the USA Select 15 camp last July scoring four goals and assisting one in five games; he played at the the NAHL Showcase in September and is a highly regarded prospect for next year's OHL draft as well as a strong candidate to earn an invitation to the NTDP evaluation camp.

Randl is the fourth 2000 born player to commit to Michigan for what is already shaping up to be a star-studded group, joining Compuware U16 forward Blade Jenkins, Honeybaked U16 defenseman Jacob Semik and Northwood School defenseman Mattias Samuelsson.
