Michigan is in for a huge recruiting weekend, with several top targets slated to be in attendance for ‘The Game' on Saturday. Both Ohio State and Michigan are ranked in the top ten per the College Football Playoffs, at 8 and 10 respectively.
There are many notable commits who have announced that they will be visiting this weekend, including quarterback and Mr. Football hopeful Brandon Peters, four-star wide receiver Ahmir Mitchell, and three-star Georgia running back Kurt Taylor.
Among the top targets taking their visit to Michigan this weekend, top-ranked athlete Mecole Hardman Jr. and No. 1 2017 cornerback Deangelo Gibbs appear to be the headliners. As we reported earlier in the week, Hardman Jr. appears to be leaning towards Georgia. Gibbs is thought to be favoring the Bulldogs as well, but an impressive showing by the Michigan secondary could help sway his decision.
Another name to keep an eye on tomorrow is 2016 inside linebacker Devin Bush Jr., who is currently ranked as the No. 11 target at his position. Bush Jr. recently released his top three, which includes Auburn, Florida State, and Michigan. The 247 Crystal Ball is currently in favor of the Seminoles landing Bush Jr., as his father attended the university. However, with the Wolverines' immediate need for a playmaker at the linebacker position, it is safe to venture that he will be a priority for the coaching staff this weekend. This will be his official visit.
