2016 Top100 LB Lists Michigan in Top 7

On Sunday, 2016 Top100 linebacker Dontavious Jackson released his top seven, where Michigan made the cut. Along with the Wolverines, Jackson's list included Florida, Florida State, LSU, Alabama, Texas, and UCLA.

The Houston, TX (Alief Elsik) athlete is a four-star recruit per the 247Composite and is ranked as the 5th ILB in the nation. He will make a trip to Ann Arbor on Nov. 28 for the matchup against Ohio State, per Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 (FREE).

Each of Michigan's top linebackers are currently upperclassman, with a majority of them being seniors or 5th years. Jackson would no doubt make an immediate impact on the team in 2016.

Here are the highlights from Jackson's 2015 season thus far:

2016 3* OLB Receives Offer from Wolverines

The Wolverines offered McKeesport, PA (McKeesport) linebacker/safety Khaleke Hudson on Monday, per Steve Wiltfong of Wolverine247 (FREE). Hudson is ranked as the 40th outside linebacker in the 2016 class and 14th in the state of Pennsylvania. He has been offered as an athlete, as no specific position has been determined at this time.

Hudson (5-11, 204) also plays at the running back position for his high school, where he is the team leader in both rushing yards and touchdowns, and is averaging more than 10 yards per carry. In addition to his offensive success, Hudson also leads the team in interceptions and forced fumbles, as well as coming in second in tackles.

This three-star athlete also boasts offers from Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Pittsburgh, among others.

ICYMI: Michigan Offers Two Additional 2017 Recruits

The Wolverines offered 2017 athlete DeeJay Dallas on Friday, who is currently committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. The Brunswick, GA (Glynn Academy) product is ranked as a four-star recruit according to the 247Composite. Dallas is a very versatile individual, as he can play quarterback, running back, and multiple positions within the secondary. So far this season, he has thrown for over 400 yards and five touchdowns along with rushing the ball for over 700 yards and eight scores.

Per Brandon Brown of Rivals and TheWolverine.com ($), the Wolverines have a legitimate shot at landing Dallas. He has been in constant communication with the coaching staff as of late, who have compared him to current Wolverine phenom Jabrill Peppers.

His commitment to Georgia appears to be anything but finalized, as he holds additional offers from Auburn, Florida, and South Carolina, among others. Dallas hopes to make a trip up to Ann Arbor in the near future.

Along with Dallas, Michigan has offered yet another New Jersey product in 2017 offensive tackle Carter Warren. The three-star prospect is ranked as the 46th OT in his class and 9th in the state of New Jersey.

Warren also holds offers from Miami (FL), Rutgers, and Virginia Tech, along with others.

Michigan RB Prospect Kareem Walker Parts Ways with OSU

Per his Twitter page on Tuesday night, the top running back in the nation in Kareem Walker has decommitted from the Buckeyes.

The four-star recruit was in attendance for Michigan's shutout win over Northwestern back in October, and he thoroughly enjoyed his visit.

At the current moment, the Wolverines are in favor of landing Walker's services according to the 247 Crystal Ball.
