Michigan OC Tim Drevno "Absolutely" Expects Jake Rudock to Play vs. Rutgers
Michigan offensive coordinator Tim Drevno spoke with the media on Wednesday afternoon and said that he "absolutely" expects quarterback Jake Rudock to play against Rutgers this Saturday. Rudock, who has started all eight games for the Wolverines this season, exited the Minnesota game in the third quarter after he took a vicious shot to the helmet and side on a scramble. There were no signs of a concussion, and it was listed as a torso injury.
Though Rudock has had his fair share of struggles and backup Wilton Speight did throw the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter against Minnesota, Rudock gives Michigan the best chance to pursue its still-possible goal of winning the Big Ten East. So this is great news for both Rudock and Michigan.
