Recruiting Visitors List: 4* Defensive Tackle to Officially Visit His Childhood Favorite Team

The Michigan Wolverines take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights this Saturday at 3:30pm in the Big House, where several recruits are slated to be in attendance. Among these names are three players who are already committed to the Wolverines, in 2016 OT Erik Swenson and 2016 TE Sean McKeon, along with 2017 TE Carter Dunaway.

The headliner of the weekend is 2016 four-star DT Chris Daniels, who's No. 161 in the 247Sports Composite. This will be Daniels' official visit to Michigan and his second trip to campus as he made the trek from Houston to Ann Arbor back in August. Michigan is in Daniels' top five, competing with Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M for his services. Daniels has called Michigan his "childhood favorite team." However, neither seems to be on top of the other's list. On Daniels' 247Sports profile, Oklahoma is the only school with an interest listed as "warmer," while Michigan is pursuing defensive tackles Rashan Gary and Jordan Elliott, both of whom are in the top 100 ahead of Daniels.

Another name to keep an eye on this weekend is Quinn Nordin, the top-ranked kicker in the 2016 cycle. Per MGoFish, Nordin will "probably" make the trip to Ann Arbor this weekend, which would mark his second visit of the season. With this being current kicker Blake O'Neill's final year of eligibility, the Wolverines are most certainly in search of a replacement.
