Michigan Remains in Top 3 in New S&P+ Rankings
Michigan remained at No. 3 in Bill Connelly's new S&P+ rankings after its 49-16 rout over Rutgers. The S&P+ rankings are derived from play-by-play data, adjust for opponents, and eliminate garbage-time drives. The Wolverines sit behind Clemson at No. 1 and Alabama at No. 2, with Ohio State and Oklahoma rounding out the top five.
Also, Michigan's defense remains first in the nation.
