Michigan opens its Big Ten season with a road date against a shorthanded Illinois team. While no road game in the Big Ten is easy, it's a matchup that greatly favors Michigan. Not only do the Illini have one of the worst three-point defenses in the country, they own an offense that tends to shoot jumpers rather than go inside and hit the offensive glass.
