Proud to announce my commitment to the University of Michigan to play D1 hockey. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way #GoBlue

It's been a busy month for Red Berenson and his staff on the recruiting trail and they continue a strong month with a verbal from Canton native and Honeybaked AAA defenseman Jacob Semik for 2018.
During the 2014-15 winter season Semik played eleven games for the HB 2000 team that won a national championship and four games with HB U16.
Semik measures in around 5'11; he skates very well, moves the puck efficiently and plays a standout game at both ends of the ice. In addition to his accolades on the ice, Semik has earned multiple HPHL Academic Excellence Awards for efforts in the classroom.
Michigan now has three commitments from 2000 born players; Semik, Compuware forward Blade Jenkins and Northwood Prep defenseman Mattias Samuelsson.
