Update: We've posted a brief analysis on what Kingston Davis brings to the Wolverines here.

The momentum from the weekend has carried over into Monday, as Michigan has picked up a commitment from 2016 running back Kingston Davis (Prattville, Alabama), according to his Twitter account.

Davis was on campus over the weekend visiting for the Spring Game and there were whispers throughout the weekend that he may pull the trigger on the Wolverines.

He is teammates with 2015 cornerback signee Keith Washington, who was also in town visiting this weekend.

Davis is a three-star prospect and the third-ranked fullback in the class of 2016, per the 247 Composite. Though it appears that Michigan is recruiting him at running back.

Davis' commitment is the third in as many days for the Michigan football program, joining four-star quarterback Brandon Peters and three-star fullback David Reese.

Michigan is now up to five commitments for its 2016 class in Davis, Reese, Peters, offensive lineman Erik Swenson and linebacker Dele Harding.
