The SEC coaches meetings began today in Destin, Florida, and while it's mainly an excuse for a bunch of college football coaches to fraternize on the golf courses and beaches of the area, it's a great time for media posturing for various rule and policy changes.
What's on the mind of SEC coaches right now? Well, "SATELLITE CAMPS" was trending on Twitter, earlier.
Here's what four coaches have had to say on the issue so far today.
NICK SABAN, Alabama
Saban: "We have a lot of crazy rules." Says it makes no sense HCs can't recruit in spring but can do satellite camps.

Nick Saban on satellite camps: "The only time you should have a camp is on your campus." Said rules need to be the same in every league.

Saban on satellite camps: "We (in the Power 5) need to get our rules in alignment...otherwise, we're going to be a farm system."

JIM MCELWAIN, Florida
Jim McElwain on satellite camps: "selfishly I'd like to keep them out of the state of Florida."
— James Crepea (@JamesCrepea) May 26, 2015
UF's McElwain on satellite camps: "What we ought to do is come to an agreement nationally." Translation: "We don't have the votes."

HUGH FREEZE, Ole Miss
Hugh Freeze gets to the heart of the matter on why SEC coaches are against satellite camps: "It's probably a selfish position"
— Dan Wolken (@DanWolken) May 26, 2015
Freeze: I'm not for satellite camps. I think our league has said that. Said he'll have to reevaluate his position on if camps continue.
— Natalie Pierre (@Natalie_Pierre) May 26, 2015
Count Freeze as one who wants an end to satellite camps. Said he hopes they disappear and wouldn’t want to participate in them

BRET BIELEMA, Arkansas
Bielema said most SEC coaches he’s talked to want SEC rule on satellite camps to be national rule ... Good luck finding the votes
— Edward Aschoff (@AschoffESPN) May 26, 2015
Bret Bielema on satellite camp issues: "It's not just camps, it's clinics as well."
— Brandon Marcello (@bmarcello) May 26, 2015
Arkansas' Bret Bielema on satellite camps: ""I’m excited to see what we come up with out of our next two days."
— Marc Weiszer (@marcweiszer) May 26, 2015
You can expect the conference to come out of the sessions with some uniform front on the issue -- even though it sounds like they've already reached it.
UPDATE, 6:40pm:
