Ahmir Mitchell Announces Top Two Schools

Mitchell's latest visit to Ann Arbor was back on Aug. 2 for the Big House barbecue, and five days later, the senior wide receiver announced on Twitter that Michigan will compete with Ohio State for his services.

It's without a doubt that the leader is Michigan, as the No. 3 ranked player in the state of New Jersey is expected to commit before the season gets underway.

U-M Listed On Florida Recruit's Top Five

Jonathan Jones, a three-star recruit from the state of Florida, did an interview with 247Sports ($) on Sunday to discuss his top five schools, with Michigan currently the leader. Duke, Notre Dame, Stanford and UCF round out the list, with the Blue Devils coming in at No. 2.

Jones is the No. 31 outside linebacker in the nation, as well as the No. 59 player in Florida. The 6-foot-2, 225 pounder will take his official visit to Ann Arbor on Sept 26 for the BYU game.

2017 Quarterback Receives OfferFrom U-M

Davis Mills has emerged as one of the top pro style quarterbacks in the class of 2017, having being ranked No. 5 in the country by 247Sports. The Georgia native was recently offered by Michigan on Sunday night, his fifth offer from a Big Ten program.

The four-star recruit also holds offers from Stanford, Arizona State, Arkansas, Kentucky and Missouri, among others.
