Wednesday Michigan Recruiting Roundup: No. 1 ATH in 2016 Class Has Michigan in Top 10

In this edition, several prospects announce that Michigan made the cut while narrowing down their lists, including the nation's top athlete in the class of 2016.

Earlier this week, Mecole Hardman Jr., the class of 2016's top athlete, included Michigan in his list of top 10 schools via his Twitter account.

The other schools that round out his top 10 include Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Stanford, and Tennessee.

Michigan Cracks Mbem-Bosse's Top 5

On Monday, Michigan made three-star linebacker Elysee Mbem-Bosse's top five, as announced on Twitter:

Mbem-Bosse's favorite is believed to be Auburn, however Michigan still appears to be in the running.

Taderrell Slaton Announces Michigan is in the Lead

Class of 2017 top-20 prospect, OT Tedarrell Slaton, named Michigan as his early leader according to 247Sports. ($) This early announcement came as a surprise to most, due to the fact that many scouts believed Slaton would sign with a team in the south. However, Slaton mentioned Jim Harbaugh's NFL experience as a significant positive about playing for the Wolverines.

American Heritage, the high school in Fort Lauderdale, FL where Slaton plays, is believed to be a top priority for Michigan in 2017, as they have already offered four players from the school.

Slaton hopes to make it up for either the Michigan State or Ohio State game this season.

Keyshawn "Pie" Young: Michigan v. Alabama

Three-star wide receiver Keyshawn "Pie" Young announced on Monday that Michigan and Alabama are the two schools that he is deciding between, according to 247Sports. ($)

Young is currently ranked No. 59 in the nation at the WR position according to the 247 Composite.

4 Star Linebacker Talks Michigan, Other Top Schools

Devin Bush Jr. announced on Tuesday that Michigan, Auburn, and Florida State are the three programs that have grabbed his attention thus far, as reported by 247Sports. ($)

A four-star linebacker from Flanagan HS in Hollywood, FL, he is the son of FSU legend Devin Bush Sr. and is currently ranked as the No. 9 inside LB in the nation.

Bush also gave his pros and cons of the Wolverines, which is also included in the link above.

USC Commit to Visit Michigan in September

As reported on Tuesday by 247Sports ($), four-star defensive tackle Keyshon Camp is set to visit Michigan on September 19th for their matchup versus UNLV.

A current USC commit, Camp cited his desire to play with former teammate and current Michigan freshman DE Reuben Jones as a reason for this visit.

Camp is the 17th-ranked DT in the 2016 class.
