Michigan has been submerged in a submarine since fall training camp began on August 7th. Since then, the media has had no access to Michigan's practices, staff, or players. The only "bubbles" that have leaked have been scattered practice reports from anonymous sources. However, as part of their tour to all 14 Big Ten schools for fall camp, the Big Ten Network had access to Michigan's football practice on Wednesday, and their analysts have begun to share their observations and thoughts on Twitter. Therefore, we will have a running tweetcap of what they say here:
Dave Revsine:
QB - Morris consistently took 1st snap in drills - but no idea if that means anything - it does at some places, it doesn't at others
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
QB - if I had to guess, I'd say both Morris and Rudock would play against Utah - not sure there's clear separation
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
Harbaugh is incredibly involved in the passing game at practice - gives a lot of feedback - very hands-on with that group
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
Other obvious trouble spot LY was OL. I think that group will be vastly improved. They have always had talent there - evident again 2day
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
No real surprises on OL - looked like Cole, Braden, Glasgow, Kals, Magnuson. Drevno singled Blake Bars out as having had good camp
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
They are really well coached on the OL - constant constructive feedback. Would be shocked if they're not better
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
WR looks to be about what it was a year ago - issue will be whether a deep threat can emerge. Better OL play could obviously help there
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
I'd be surprised if Grant Perry doesn't contribute some at WR. Tough to tell on Brian Cole - kind of up and down
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
RB - lots of good well-known options here - again, I think difference in OL will help immensely.
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
PK remains up in the air - still doesn't look like an area of strength. Aussie P Blake O'Neill got off some boomers - impressive
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
PR looks like it'll be Peppers and Chesson. Peppers looked great overall today and DJ Durkin said he's had an outstanding camp
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
TE could be a real area of strength - obviously we know about Jake Butt, but Poggi, Winovich, Williams (nice TD grab) all look solid
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
A lot of known commodities, obviously, on defense. Looks like Lyons will definitely help in secondary.
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
It's obvious they're really, really well coached. Practice was all business, drills were efficient, feedback was great
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
Tall. Clearly has talent - but it's a 2-man race at QB for this year https://t.co/zhLpCpfrmP
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
Did I mention Hill and Bunting? They're good too. Lot of interesting options there. https://t.co/H0nuauOLpU
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
I still think big-play explosiveness will be an issue for this team - no one totally jumps out on that front
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
Hard to tell - I did notice Smith a few times. Guess would be by committee at 1st & see if someone emerges https://t.co/ZHYrUZHwMy
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
It's tough to say - both had their moments. Morris has a great arm. Rudock doesn't make many mistakes. Tough call https://t.co/652eApcfnI
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
That's a young(er) guy that could definitely help https://t.co/AkxFpZAyvu
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
Big - man he has great size for a RB. Because of the structure of practice, I didn't come away w great feel for RBs https://t.co/KghTz2Y9Cc
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
Not that we saw - but, again, they know we're there. He certainly could provide explosion if they're so inclined https://t.co/SyeGq3LAPN
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
Good group - rotated a lot of guys through. I think they'll once again have a very solid defense https://t.co/mugvTCnwR1
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
His arm - he can really spin it. Issue will obviously be TO's - have to be dramatically better there as a team https://t.co/ktZiwUFVCz
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
MSU looked like a team that can compete this year for a National Title. Not a fair expectation for UM this yr https://t.co/uMimpq2hsd
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
In a strange twist, he opted for khakis. https://t.co/CRoeDpnrfG
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
Not sure I'm really in a position to say - but I can say he's a phenomenal athlete who can really help them win https://t.co/4MplSoxtQY
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
I don't think it needs to be - but can certainly be as good. Just need to force some TO's. https://t.co/PY6wnwuLJX
— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015
Didn't see an obvious difference - but it's just one day of camp - Drevno certainly thinks they can be good https://t.co/B6K6pTYCpc

A very business-like practice at Michigan today. No music blared. A classroom environment with lots of teaching. Nobody walked or lingered.
— Tom Dienhart (@BTNTomDienhart) August 19, 2015
Dressed in his uniform of a blue "M" cap, long-sleeve shirt and—what else?—khakis, Harbaugh spent most of time with QBs. Always instructing.
— Tom Dienhart (@BTNTomDienhart) August 19, 2015
Staffers describe the Michigan camp as a "submarine." It is all business with no distractions.

Gerry DiNardo
BTN Bus Tour Stop 8 #Wolverines Much like in the past few years team has more talent than most B1G teams they play except for the 2 best.
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Wolverines As always starts w O/D lines no lack of talent in either area They've recruited well in both areas & r good enough
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Wolverines I would not be surprised if both QB played in opener against Utah. Game play sometimes is best way to decide
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Wolverines Defense very solid good depth & has good young players that will have time 2 develop. Off needs more dynamic skill
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Wolverines Biggest diff in this team as opposed 2 past couple of yrs has 2 b QB play or progress will b slow- they have talent
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Wolverines The whole submarine thing is just another way of saying this is what camp was 10 yrs ago - used 2 b what every1 did
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Wolverines College Football 2015 We're talking about TCU/Baylor in the playoff picture but not Texas, Oklahoma or Michigan!
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Wolverines They got a lot done for the 14th practice in the middle of 2 a days. Some places are going without any 2 a days
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015
BTN Bus Tour #Wolverines JH has had immediate success @ places because he's a control freak (compliment) & everyone gets the message quickly

Howard Griffith
Would not be surprised if the #Wolverines QB battle is not settled by wk 1. Morris & Rudock both did some good things today.
— Howard Griffith (@HowardGriffith) August 19, 2015
WR. @TheGrantPerry will have a chance to contribute this year. #Wolverines
