Hello, Michigan lovers, last week was a bit of a bummer, but none of us were probably too surprised by the outcome. The interceptions were rough to see, but overall some pretty positive things came out of Thursday. We saw an offensive line keep a quarterback standing for an entire game, and we could see what the offense could look like when all things are clicking. And the defense? That's a unit that will get even better as the season goes on, too. Scary.
So here we are--this is perhaps the biggest non-conference home game we've seen in a great while in Ann Arbor. It's not the opponent, it's not at night, and it isn't the end of some rivalry that makes it special. It's the beginning of Jim Harbaugh's legacy at home. I guess, it's actually a continuation of his legacy at home...30 years later. And it's a pretty great legacy.
I would normally have a bunch of links for you to check out, but since things are getting a little busy for me as of writing this on Thursday, and I won't be available on Friday...here's just one link to our Storystream for today's game. Check out all the goodies that are there for you.
I'll be at the game, as will other MnB staffers, so I leave the thread up to you. Sure, I'll try to drop in from time to time, but this is yours. We had about 890 comments on last week's thread, which is probably a record; let's see if we can get to 900. Comment like this is the most important thread ever, mind the guidelines (remember, I'll still be watching you), and always Go Blue!
Today's tune is brought you by...Postmodern Jukebox ft. Ariana Savalas.
And, hey, since I love PMJ so much, here's a double-dip w/ Cristina Gatti
