Wednesday Michigan Recruiting Roundup: Michigan Recruits Talk Weekend Visit

In this edition, read what 2016 and 2017 recruits had to say about their visit to Ann Arbor this past weekend, as well as which former 2016 commit has reclassified to the 2017 class.

The Wolverines handled the Oregon State Beavers quite nicely on Saturday, outscoring them 35-7 and giving up just 2 yards in the final three quarters.

While it was not a huge weekend in terms of recruit visits, Ann Arbor did play host to several notable athletes including 2016 QB commit Victor Viramontes and 4* CB Jared Mayden.

TheWolverine.com (FREE) was able to catch up with several of these recruits following their visit. One talking point that was brought up by nearly every player was the energy of the Big House and the fans.

As Viramontes said,

"It was my first visit and man, words can't describe The Big House! The game had a lot of energy and the fans are amazing."

Other comments from the recruits about their experience included the intensity of Coach Harbaugh, the extensive use of the tight ends during the game, and the stifling play of the defensive line.

CB Benjamin St. Juste to Enroll in January 2017

According to 247Sports (FREE), CB Benjamin St. Juste has been reclassified to the 2017 class and will enroll at Michigan in January 2017.

The 3* prospect from Quebec, Canada will become the second member of the 2017 group alongside TE Carter Dunaway, leaving the 2016 class with 22 commitments. This reclassification opens up one more spot in this class, which will hold between 25 and 28 players in total.
