Rashan Gary Taking Official To Michigan This Saturday
Rashan Gary is a man. Plain and simple. So how excited would it be to see him in maize and blue for the next three-to-four years?
And don't forget, Gary, the No. 1 ranked recruit overall nationally in the senior class, will be taking his first official to Ann Arbor for the BYU game, according to Steve Lorenz of 247Sports (FREE).
The other official scheduled is Auburn for the Iron Bowl against instate rival Alabama on Nov. 28.
The chances of landing Gary is strong, considering his former high school coach, Chris Partridge from Paramus Catholic (News Jersey) is now a recruiting coordinator at Michigan. The connection is already there, it's just a matter of how well Gary enjoys his time in SEC country.
Detroit King Prospect Discusses Michigan Visit
Armani Posey is an interesting topic discussed within the Detroit area. Regardless of the fact that he's a three-star recruit from Rivals.com and 247Sports, he has yet to receive one offer from a Division 1 school. The interest is there from the Mid-American Conference, Big Ten and Cincinnati, but nothing has been set in stone.
Posey did however, take a visit to the Big House this past Saturday for the UNLV game, according to Brandon Brown of The Wolverine (FREE). It was his first time stepping foot in Ann Arbor since the hiring of Jim Harbaugh.
"It went really good. The whole visit was really unexpected. I paid close attention to the DB's. I think they did a really good job closing in on the ball. There were a couple interceptions so they played good. The whole defense is nice."
The coaching staff invited Posey for another visiting this Saturday for the BYU game, but King is schedule to square off with Detroit Cass Tech on the same day, but another visit is expected in the near future.
Posey is the No. 20 ranked senior recruit in the state of Michigan.
Another Caleb Kelly Update
Multiple reports say that Caleb Kelly is likely committing to Oklahoma, but Michigan is a bittersweet runner-up for his services.
The No. 2 ranked senior outside linebacker in the country was in Ann Arbor last weekend for his official for the UNLV game, his second time visiting the school.
According to Steve Lorenz of 247Sports ($), Kelly has other officials set with the Sooners, Oregon and Notre Dame, and will decide between TCU, USC, Alabama and LSU for the fifth visit.
2019 Offensive Tackle Receives Michigan Offer
It's never a bad thing when you're considered to be one of the top freshman prospects in your home state, especially when it's a football powerhouse like Ohio.
Nolan Rumler, a 6-foot-4, 290 pound offensive tackle, told Scout.com that his first official offer on Wednesday was from the Wolverines.
Must be a cloud nine feeling to have collected an offer from a school like Michigan before entering your sophomore year.
