Beilein "Not Optimistic" that LeVert Will Play vs. Maryland

+

John Beilein informed the media on Monday afternoon that he's "not optimistic" that Caris LeVert will play against #3 Maryland on Tuesday night. LeVert has missed the last two games with what has been called a "lower left leg" injury that he suffered in the second half against Illinois on December 30th. Beilein added that, though LeVert is experiencing less pain every day, he still didn't practice on Sunday.

This is becoming more and more worrisome. LeVert still is in pain two weeks after what appeared to be a slight ankle tweak. That the foot he injured is the one that he has fractured twice in the past two years has to make one wonder just how severe this injury is, particularly since he's now doubtful to participate in what will be Michigan's most important game of the season to date.
