Last week, Iowa was the new Big Ten team to enter the top 25. This week, it's Indiana. After a tight home win against Wisconsin and a beatdown of the Buckeyes, the Hoosiers are 14-3 and own a perfect 4-0 Big Ten record, albeit against a relatively soft schedule. Nonetheless, the coaches have rewarded them by voting them into the #25 spot of their poll, just one place behind #24 Purdue, who fell in the polls for the second straight week after a head-scratching loss at Illinois on Sunday.
Maryland remains the highest-ranked team in the Big Ten at #3 in both polls, while Michigan State moved up one spot to #4 after Virginia had a week on the road that it'd like to forget. Iowa continued to rise in the polls after its 77-66 win against Nebraska last Tuesday, rising three spots to #16 in the AP poll and four spots to #19 in the Coaches poll.
Michigan, which had two votes in the AP poll last week, received none this week.
