Michigan Wolverines Baseball Ranked No. 23 in Preseason Poll

Opening day is Feb. 19.

The Michigan Wolverines baseball team could be set for a special season as they will start the season ranked No. 23 in  Perfect Game's NCAA Division I Preseason Poll.

Michigan finished the 2015 season at 39-25 and made it to the Louisville regional championship game. Coach Erik Bakich is entering his fourth season at the helm.

Here's the full rundown, with each team's season from last year in parenthesis:

As you can see, Michigan is the lone Big Ten team to make the top 25. The Wolverines play their first game Feb. 19 against Canisius in Port St. Lucie, Florida. After also playing in California, Oklahoma and Hawaii, the first home game will be March 25 against UIC.
