This upcoming weekend of official visits marks one of the most important thus far on the recruiting trail. Per Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 ($), several top targets are slated to visit, headlined by 2016 four-star versatile athlete Jordan Fuller (NJ). Fuller has been a top target for the Wolverines for quite some time and has been projected to play on both sides of the ball at the collegiate level.
Linebackers coach Chris Patridge went in-home with Fuller last week, and this will be his first trip to campus since March. The 247Composite lists Fuller as the sixth-ranked athlete in the class and fourth overall in New Jersey.
Along with Fuller, California teammates Boss Tagaloa and Devin Asiasi will pay a visit to campus this weekend. Tagaloa is a four-star defensive tackle while Asiasi is listed as a four-star defensive end and tight end. Asiasi is being recruited as a TE by the coaching staff.

Another name to keep an eye on this weekend is former Oregon commit Eddie McDoom. Michigan is considered to be a favorite to land the three-star WR, per Brice Marich of Scout. Per Josh Edwards of Wolverine247 (FREE), McDoom is also being recruited by Georgia, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

Coaching Staff Visits with David Long: "Business is Good!"
Five members of the coaching staff payed a visit to the home of four-star cornerback David Long (CA) on Monday, including Coach Harbaugh, linebackers coach Chris Patridge, defensive coordinator Don Brown, tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh, and defensive line coach Greg Mattison.

Long has been highly touted by Michigan throughout the entire recruiting process. The 247 Crystal Ball is in favor of the Wolverines landing Long, who is ranked eighth in his class at the CB position.
Harbaugh Goes In-Home with 2016 4* Safety
With the recruiting dead period coming to a close last week, Coach Harbaugh and the recruiting staff are wasting no time in visiting some top recruits.
According to Clint Brewster of Wolverine247 (FREE), Harbaugh met with four-star safety Isaiah Wilson (KS) at his home on Monday. Per Wilson's Twitter page:

The Wolverines offered Simmons just four days ago. He is ranked at No. 16 in the 2016 cycle at the safety position and third overall in the state of Kansas.

Harbaugh Pays Visit to 2017 5* RB
On Tuesday, Coach Harbaugh stopped by the high school of 2017 five-star running back Najee Harris (CA). Per Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 ($), Harris is a current verbal commitment to Alabama.
Harris is ranked as the No. 1 RB in his class and second overall in the 2017 cycle.
Hardman Jr. Names Wolverines in Top List
The nation's top-ranked athlete, 2016 wide receiver and cornerback Mecole Hardman Jr. (GA), released a list of his top schools on Monday via Twitter.

Michigan made the cut, along with Ohio State, Florida, Clemson, Alabama, Tennessee, and in-state Georgia.
The five-star athlete is the 12th overall prospect in his class. Per the 247 Crystal Ball, Hardman is favored to land at Georgia.
Wolverines Included in Final List for 2016 4* LB
Michigan has made the final cut for 2016 four-star linebacker Dontavious Jackson (TX), per Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 (FREE).

Jackson also announced that he will make his decision on National Signing Day, which is February 3.
Michigan defensive line coach Greg Mattison went in-home with Jackson last week. Per the 257 Crystal Ball, it appears as though Texas is favored to land his services.
