Class of 2017 three-star linebacker Shanon Reid has told Maize n Brew that he is “thinking about” committing to Michigan.

After taking an official visit to Michigan on October 1st, Reid will head to Tennessee on November 12th and Iowa State on November 19th for official visits. He also mentioned that Maryland is trying to set up an official visit for the linebacker.
Reid, from Dunbar High School (FL), is ranked No. 609 in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports. He is the 41st-best outside linebacker and is ranked No. 83 in the state of Florida.
Earlier in the month, Reid told Maize n Brew that Michigan is the No. 1 school on his list.
“That’s the best place for me at the next level,” Reid said, regarding Michigan. “Everybody treated me like I was part of the family.”
Reid has offers to play for Mississippi State, USF, Arizona, Cincinnati, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, N.C. State, North Carolina, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tennessee, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Colorado State, FIU, Florida Atlantic, Marshall, South Alabama and Southern Miss.
He was offered by Michigan on March 18th.
Reid’s Top 3 schools (in order) are Michigan, Tennessee and Mississippi State.
