5* ‘Bama Commit Enjoyed Michigan Game; Could Visit Again

Per Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 (FREE), Alex Leatherwood, a five-star Alabama commit, thoroughly enjoyed his visit this past weekend to Ann Arbor, even going so far as to say that it was the best visit he's been on. Per his Twitter account on Monday:

Leatherwood, an offensive tackle from Florida, is ranked as the fifth-best recruit in the 2017 class and second at his position. He has been committed to the Crimson Tide for over a year.

2017 Top100 DT Announces Michigan Official

According to Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 (FREE), 2017 four-star defensive tackle Jay Tufele (UT) has set his Michigan official and will pay a visit to Ann Arbor for the homecoming game against Illinois on October 22. Per the article, Tufele is the final remaining target on Michigan's defensive line for the 2017 class.

The 247Composite lists him as the top-ranked player in Utah and 56th overall in the country. Also interested in his services are Oregon, Utah, and Ohio State. Tufele recently listed Michigan in his top seven schools.

Dylan McCaffrey Shines in High School Play

During high school play over the weekend, Michigan quarterback commit Dylan McCaffrey absolutely lit up the competition, leading his team (Valor Christian) to a 42-26 victory over Cherry Creek HS.

The QB accounted for 336 passing yards and five (!!) total touchdowns. Click here to watch the highlight reel for the game.

ICYMI: 2018 4* OT Commits to Michigan

Michigan grabbed a 2018 commit over the weekend in the form of four-star offensive tackle Emil Ekiyor (IN). Per his Twitter page on Sunday,
