J’Marick Woods, a three-star safety committed to Michigan, spoke with Maize n Brew about his past, present and future. He also gave an insight on the Michigan commits.
“We all got a group message, so I keep in touch with them through that,” Woods said, regarding his relationship with other Michigan commits. “I’m really cool with Corey Malone-Hatcher, that’s kind of like family. When I first went up there, me and him we clicked.”
Michigan’s 2017 class is ranked No. 9 in the nation, according to 247Sports. The class is also ranked second in the Big Ten Conference, behind Ohio State.
Dylan McCaffrey, a four-star pro-style quarterback, is the top athlete on Michigan’s commitment list. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound signal caller from Valor Christian High School (CO) is ranked No. 45 in the 2017 class, per 247Sports. He is the third-best pro-style quarterback and the top player from the state of Colorado.
