Jim Harbaugh went on the Jamie and Stoney radio show this morning, and provided some more insight into the kicking competition. Kenny Allen, Ryan Tice, and Quinn Nordin are all battling for the opportunity to start against Rutgers on Saturday.
Harbaugh:
"Quinn's back and in the competition and made both of his kicks yesterday. In fact, we had a really good day yesterday. Kenny Allen made all his kicks, Ryan Tice made all his kicks and Quinn Nordin made all his kicks. It will rage on again today."
Harbaugh liked what he’s seen from the group this week, but has yet to decide who will handle the duties:
"It's been a good improvement for us in that area, we haven't determined yet who will kick yet in the game. The competition will rage on."
Allen is now 4-8 on the year, Tice 0-1, while Nordin, a top ranked kicking recruit, is looking for his first opportunity to kick in a game.
