Michigan shooting guard Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman missed November 4th’s exhibition game against Armstrong State with an ankle injury.

The good news is that Abdur-Rahkman will make his return to the court on Friday as Michigan opens the regular season against Howard at Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor.

Coach John Beilein said that Abdur-Rahkman practiced on Wednesday with no restrictions and is “good to go” for November 11th.

From Central Catholic High School (PA), Abdur-Rahkman joined the Wolverines for the 2014-15 season, but really started to shine in 2015-16. During last season, the shooting guard logged 27.8 minutes per game and averaged 8.6 points, 1.7 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game.

Abdur-Rahkman will start at shooting guard for the Wolverines, along with sophomore center Moritz Wagner, redshirt junior forward Duncan Robinson, senior forward Zak Irvin and senior point guard Derrick Walton Jr.
