On the first day of the early signing period, 2017 four-star shooting guard Jordan Pool signed his national letter-of-intent with Michigan. Poole is Michigan’s top commit in the 2017 class.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound shooting guard verbally committed to Michigan on October 23, 2015.
Poole averaged 18.2 points per game as a junior at Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. However, he will finish out his high school career at La Lumiere High School in LaPorte, Indiana for his senior season.
Eli Brooks, who is also a Michigan commit, signed his letter-of-intent a few hours after Poole. Meanwhile, Isaiah Livers will wait until Friday to sign with the Wolverines.
Poole is ranked No. 90 in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports. He is the 26th-best shooting guard.
