Michigan Commit to Take Other Visits

Per Andrew Ivins of 247Sports (FREE), Michigan verbal commit Kai-Leon Herbert will take an official visit to Miami and possibly Florida and Kansas as well. The four-star offensive tackle in the 2017 class hails from Fort Lauderdale and both the Hurricanes and Gators have been heavily recruiting him as of late.

Per the article, Herbert said that both schools will give him the opportunity to play right away, but he will need to compete for a spot in Ann Arbor. He plans to announce his decision on Signing Day on February 1. The 247Composite lists him as the 27th-ranked OT in the class and 35th overall in Florida.

Michigan Target to Commit on December 7

Maize ‘n Brew reported on Tuesday that Michigan target Shanon Reid (FL) will decide between Michigan, Iowa State, Tennessee, and LSU on December 7. The 247Composite lists him as the 44th-best outside linebacker in the 2017 class and 83rd overall in Florida.

The Crystal Ball in currently in favor of LSU landing Reid, where he will visit this weekend.
