Another week, another double-digit spread for Michigan.
The Wolverines opened as an 18-point favorite for their upcoming road matchup against Iowa on Sunday morning according to VegasInsider.com. However, it may be higher than that by kickoff next weekend. Just minutes after the line opened, it jumped up two points, making the Wolverines a 20-point favorite at the moment.
This is the 10th time in 10 games that Michigan is a double-digit favorite. The Wolverines are 6-3 against the spread and covered the 30.5-point line easily on Saturday with a 59-3 rout over Maryland. This is the third straight game that Iowa will be an underdog. The Hawkeyes were a four-point home underdog against Wisconsin and a 6.5-point road underdog to Penn State. They failed to cover either spread.
This will be the first matchup between Michigan and Iowa since 2013. The Wolverines beat the spread against Iowa in their last two meetings and are 5-2 ATS in their last seven.
