Brad Hawkins, who committed to Michigan in 2016, will visit U-M this weekend. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound wide receiver signed with the Wolverines on February 3rd, then decided to attend a prep school instead of heading to Michigan.

After a year at Suffield Academy, Hawkins seems primed to sign with Michigan in 2017. Through six games this season, the receiver has 42 catches for 668 yards and eight touchdowns. He also has five carries for 15 yards. Hawkins has made 10 total tackles. Before his prep year with Suffield Academy, he played for Camden High School in New Jersey.
Hawkins should see time at either safety or wide receiver with the Wolverines.
The four-star wide receiver was ranked No. 7 in the state of New Jersey for the 2016 class, according to 247Sports.
During his first commitment to Michigan on July 3rd, Hawkins narrowed down his choices to Michigan, Oregon, South Carolina, Rutgers and Temple. It seems as if it is a matter of time before Hawkins will decide to officially wear the Maize and Blue in 2017.
