Michigan Leads with 2018 4* DE

Per Ryan Bartow of Wolverine247 ($), the Wolverines are now the frontrunners to land the services of 2018 four-star weak-side defensive end Nik Bonitto (FL). You will need a subscription to 247Sports in order to read Bonitto's comments, however he did mention that he has been in constant contact with the Michigan coaching staff.

The 247Composite lists Bonitto as the third-best DE in his class and 15th overall in Florida. The Crystal Ball is 100% in favor of Florida landing him, however he has yet to receive an offer from the Gators.

He hopes to visit Michigan next summer.

Michigan Targets Nearing Commitment Announcements

2017 4* OT Aaron Banks

Per his Twitter account, 2017 four-star offensive tackle Aaron Banks (CA) is set to make his commitment decision between December 4 and December 18. The 247 Crystal Ball is completely in favor of USC landing Banks, but he has mentioned that the Wolverines are in his top five.

He is the 19th-ranked OT in his class. Banks visited the Wolverines this past weekend.

2017 4* C Cesar Ruiz

Cesar Ruiz, a 2017 four-star center from Florida, is set to announce his commitment decision on December 18. Michigan is currently the heavy favorite to land Ruiz, as the 247 Crystal Ball is 94% in favor of the Wolverines. He is the top-ranked center in the 2017 class and the 65th overall recruit.
