Austin has offers to play for Duke, Iowa State, Kentucky, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, N.C. State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tennessee, UCF, USF, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, East Carolina, FIU, Florida Atlantic, Miami (OH), Northern Illinois, Ohio, and Temple.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound receiver is ranked No. 261 in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports. He is the 43rd-best wide receiver and the No. 39 ranked athlete from the state of Florida.
In 12 games for North Broward Prep in 2016, Austin ran the ball 46 times for 454 yards and six touchdowns. He added 41 receptions for 1,021 yards and 13 touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, Austin made 21 tackles (16 solo tackles, five assist tackles) and 3.0 tackles for a loss.
